Terms and Conditions for ‘Matilda the Musical’ Competition.
General Competition rules
1. Phone entrants are required to phone the number indicated in the competition information. The charge per call will be the price indicated in the competition information plus network charges. The total cost will therefore be dependent on the entrant's network. The Producers do not accept responsibility for any network charges. Entrants must have the permission of the bill payer before calling. Entrants may be able to enter the competition from outside the UK (although entry is restricted to UK residents). There is no warranty that the service is available or appropriate for use in locations outside the UK. Charges for entering the competition will depend on the relevant service provider's international phone rates.
2. If you are under the age of 18, you must obtain permission from a parent/guardian before entering and should you win the main prize, a parent/guardian will be required to accompany you.
3. Competition is airing on True Movies 1, True Movies 2, True Entertainment, PopGirl and Pop. Deadline for receiving entries is 10th February 2012 at 11.59pm. Results will be picked within the following week and the Producers endeavour to deliver the prize to the winner(s) within twenty eight (28) days from the date of the draw, unless otherwise specified.
4. The prize-winner(s) will be drawn randomly, and contacted by the Producers on the phone number or at the postal address provided when entering the competition. The winner will have a maximum of 3 days in which to claim his or her prize. Failure to respond within the fixed time period as specified and/or provide an address for delivery of the prize may result in forfeiture of the prize. If the winner fails to answer the call promptly or if the line is engaged or if for any other reason successful contact is not made, or they do not respond within the time specified, or if for any reason the call is interrupted in any way which is beyond the control of the Producers then the Producers reserve the right to offer the prize to the next eligible entrant and thereafter until a winner is found.
5. Prizes must be taken as stated and cannot be deferred.
6. There will be no cash alternatives.
7. The Producers do not accept any responsibility for late or lost entries due to the phone system.
8. This competition is not open to employees or contractors of (promoter and partner) or any person directly or indirectly involved in the organisation or running of the competition, or their direct family members.
9. The Producer's decision is final in every situation including any not covered above and no correspondence will be entered into.
10. The Producers reserve the right in the event of circumstances arising outside of their control which in their opinion makes it necessary to cancel the competition at any stage.
11. Entrants will be deemed to have accepted these rules and to agree to be bound by them when entering this competition.
12. This agreement is governed by the laws of England and Wales.
13. It is assumed that by entering competitions, which, if won, could result in time off work, the entrant’s employer is in agreement to time off. When dates are specified they cannot be altered.
14. The Winner(s) hereby agree to take part in any reasonable publicity requested by CSC Media Group in connection with the Competition.
15. The prizes are non-transferable and there are no alternatives. CSC Media Group may substitute a prize for an alternative of the same or comparable value if it, in its sole discretion, deems necessary.
16. A hard copy set of these terms and conditions or the name of the winner can be obtained by writing to CSC Media Group at 115, Harwood Rd, London, SW6 4QP, enclosing a stamped addressed envelope.
17. No purchase necessary.
18. Travel expenses are covered to the value of £200, all other expenses to be settled by the winner.
19. Overnight stay is for four people sharing a family room or two twin/double rooms (subject to availability) for one night with breakfast.
20. All elements of the prize are subject to availability, are non transferable or exchangeable and cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer.
21. No cash alternative is available.
22. Prize must be taken before 29th March 2012 and is vailid for Tues - Thurs performances from 20 Feb to 29 March plus Sat 25 Jan and Sat 3 March.
23. Chosen dates to redeem prize are strictly subject to availability & some exclusions may apply. There is no cash alternative to prizes; prizes are non-refundable and non-transferable.
24. The Promoter reserves the right to substitute a prize (or any part of it) for a prize of equivalent monetary value if this is necessary for reasons beyond its control. If any event prize is postponed for any reason, the prize will be valid for such other date on which the event is rescheduled.
25. If the event is cancelled then the prize will be null and void. If a winner is unable or does not want, for whatever reason, to accept a prize, the Promoter reserves the right to award the prize to another eligible entrant.
